If you want to become a Hafiz within six months, you will have to memorize five parts of the Qur'an or five parts each month. Although this can be achieved, it is much better to memorize the Qur'an at a slower pace. One page per day is a very good rate which should generally get you a Hafiz in two to three years.

Hafiz (/ˈhɑːfɪz/; Arabic: حافظ, romanized: ḥāfiẓ, pl. ḥuffāẓ حُفَّاظ, f. ḥāfiẓa حافظة), literally meaning "memorizer", depending on the context, is a term used by Muslims for someone who has completely memorized the Quran. Hafiza is the female equivalent.
A person who memorizes the Quran is called 'Hafiz', the keeper and the guardian. He learns the verses to keep them safe in his heart. To learn the Quran word by word is an act of great reward if done solely to seek Allah's pleasure. Such a person is ranked high in status in this world and in the hereafter.
According to Islamic tradition, the Quran was first compiled into a comprehensive book by Abu Bakr.
In Indonesian culture, the Arabic borrowed words hafizandqariseem to be used incorrectly. Since, everytime the word hafiz is mentioned the intended meaning is 'a man who memorizes the Qur'an by heart' and whenever anyone says qari'the intended meaning is 'a man who reads the Qur'an by vocalizing it'.
